Cultural Exchanges Break Down Stereotypes

PA-MOJA encourages cultural exchanges between sister schools in North America and Kenya.  Heritage Woods in Coquitlam, BC, held a 30 hour famine and auction to raise funds and create awareness about the project.  Students at Heritage Woods sang Kenyan songs and listened to founder, Gillian LaPrairie, talk about wildlife in Africa. Later, students engaged in a late night Skype call with Loise Secondary School in Kenya.
