PA-MOJA Volunteer Leigh Vierstra works with her Sister School

New PA-MOJA volunteer, Leigh Vierstra, from Madison, Wisconsin, created this video by combining footage she took of her students at Madison East High School and students at her sister school, Malek Girls’ school. Leigh returned home and presented this video to her staff who gave their overwhelming support for the PA-MOJA project.

  1. This is a great project. I think that it could be expanded to other schools and it would make a really powerful cultural exchange for all of PA-MOJA.

  2. Having worked with P.K.S.S. this summer,i think the time has come for the project to take one step further and introduce students interaction. This can be done by bring in a few students to visit their sister schools. This will help the students to learn how their sisters schools are doing and the challenges.P.K.S.S. has grown over the years.Congratulations to the new volunteers who have brought in new ideas and increased the P.K.S.S. FAMILY.
