Sometimes with a little help from Mom, small children can do big things! Abby White, 6, is a first-grader in Room 210 at Girard Elementary School in Philadelphia. During the recent fundraiser for our Kenyan sister school, Njoguini Primary, Abby raised more than $50. Ms. Boylan, her teacher, gave Abby the information on the sister school project, which Abby took home to her mom.
Abby was careful to give her mom a lot of the credit. “She took it to work,” Abbey said. “My mom really wanted to do it, and I like helping lots of different people from different countries.”
Thank you Abby and Ms. White!
