Robert Morijoh is an 18 year old Massai student in Grade 8. The Uaso-Nyiro Primary student impressed the summer volunteers with his musical skills.
Robert is playing a hand-made Massai guitar which he practices at night. The piece, titled “Lchamuke,” is a love song dedicated to girls and is traditionally sung my Massai warriors.
Wonderful. I can’t wait to share this with the choir students at Windemere Secondary in Vancouver.
