The school was started in 2005 and is currently composed of four classes with a student’s population of 146 students (112 boys and 34 girls).

Infrastructure
The school has four classrooms which are used for learning and are well equipped with desks. The school has one permanent dormitory for boys and a semi-permanent dormitory for girls. There is also a semi-permanent school kitchen where food is cooked and served to students. Since the school is within a semi arid zone marked by water scarcity, the school has 10 water tanks with a total capacity of 82,500 litres.
Recent Achievements
- The school has installed electricity at the mid of this year
- The school participated in ball games in the District level and took position 3
- Project Kenya sister school collaborated with Ol Pejeta conservancy and bought 2 dairy cow for the school and a biogas-gas project is to follow soon
- PA-MOJA in collaboration with Ol Pejeta and another UK based partner constructed and equipped a Science laboratory

The school is an important center to this community because:
- Only school in the area that provides secondary education
- Promote girl child education among pastoralist communities.
- Empowerment to the community through talents building
- Discourages Retrogressive practices i.e. early marriages, forced marriages
Challenges that the school faces:
- Lack of teachers’ houses
- Lack of permanent girl’s dormitory
- Inadequate of teaching materials
