PA-MOJA Director, Heather Hall, visited Windermere Secondary’s sister school, Mwituria in July, 2014. Heather shared a video of Windermere students singing “Lean on Me” then successfully taught the Kenyan students to sing the song. Later, the Mwituria PA-MOJA club performed a poem and song for Heather and the rest of the visiting donors.
Mwituria students were delighted to receive a small bag of cultural exchange items, including a picture of their pen pal.
The principal, David Muchemi, invited Windermere students to come to Kenya for a visit and hoped that one day his students would become professsors in universities in Canada.
