Name: Bernard Gacheri Omari

Community: Njoguini
My name is Bernard Omari. I was born in 2007 and grew up in a humble background with two loving parents and two younger siblings, making me the oldest son in our family. I worked diligently during my primary education and became a PA-MOJA scholarship student.
Integrity is crucial to me, and I take virtues like kindness and generosity seriously. I’ve been a role model for my peers and friends, collectively exercising kindness and generosity within our community, especially towards the elderly in need of assistance.
I am a determined dream chaser, committed to realizing my aspirations. My ambition has always been to become a military commander. The exceptional leadership displayed by these individuals, courageously leading thousands of soldiers to defend their countries, inspires me greatly. I am dedicated to working hard to achieve this dream.
To demonstrate my commitment to my career, I prioritize physical fitness, ensuring I am in good shape through regular exercise. Additionally, I actively participate in the Scouts and Karate club at school, which aligns with my pursuit of excellence.
Furthermore, I am dedicated to my studies, striving for a high grade. My favorite subjects, English and Business Studies, are areas I’m particularly passionate about, largely due to the positive pressure my teachers continuously place on me, for which I am grateful.
Football is my favorite game, and I’m a skilled player. I discovered my passion for football at the age of six, playing earnestly with older friends in the neighborhood. Under the guidance of my coach, Salim, I’ve developed into the best right-back defender for the Nanyuki Border Eighteen Stars team. Trent Alexander Arnold, a right-back superstar, serves as my football role model due to his characteristics and achievements in the game. I’m an integral part of my school team, contributing goals and assists in various tournaments, aspiring to challenge my role models and become a worldwide superstar in football.
During my leisure time, I enjoy reading mystery adventure novels, particularly by the writer Tom Austine. I also find joy in keeping rabbits as a hobby, nurturing these lovely creatures by ensuring they are well-fed with the right diet.
Finally, I express my gratitude to the PA-MOJA Scholarship Foundation. I believe that through this program, not only I but also many others like me, will be able to achieve their dreams. Thank you.
