It is my absolute pleasure to serve the students and families in Langley as the Executive Director of the Langley School District Foundation. As a parent with three children in Langley public schools, I know firsthand what an integral partner the Foundation is to SD35. While we are a separate entity from the School District, our close partnership means that when a need arises at a school, the Foundation does our very best to meet that need. One of our foundational beliefs is that we are better when we work with others to support students and this extends to community partners and organizations as well as those supporting a broader social and educational purpose, such as PA-MOJA. My main role in working with PA-MOJA is the tracking of donations and distribution of funds to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. I work closely with with Alison Stuart and Amber Illes, the chairs of the committee to ensure that the partnership is running smoothly. Both in Langley and abroad, our motto is: Caring for students, together.
