My name is Solomon Lenguile Parasoli. I am the fifth born in my family, born on July 2nd, 2005, in Laikipia County. I like playing football as my exercise and it’s where my talent lies. I began playing football in 2016 when I was in class 4. I was among the players of the school team, usually playing as the number nine position because I am a good scorer. I am also part of my village team. I derive immense joy from playing football. I often imagine being a player for Kenya due to my extensive experience and participation in various football teams.
Another activity that brings me happiness at school is reading Chemistry, one of the sciences. I enjoy reading Chemistry as I excel in practicals, which earns me appreciation in school. Additionally, I read this subject to fulfill my career aspiration of becoming a doctor and working in the world of chemicals dealing with different types of substances.
Mathematics is also a part of my practical activities. I study mathematics because I am good at it and find it easily understandable. Another reason I like mathematics is its necessity in almost all courses in my country. I am also skilled in constructing mathematical shapes due to practicing them during my free time.
I also delve into computer studies as a technical subject, learning it theoretically and practically. It will enable me to venture into the world of technology. I find computer studies interesting because I can learn typing faster and understand many tasks done using computers easily. The subject also makes work more manageable, and studying it in high school will ease my university-level computer studies.
I love aiding my family members and people in my community in their duties as it is part of my responsibility. Assisting diverse individuals is another way of receiving blessings, motivating me each day to improve and do more.
I enjoy watching football, especially Manchester United games. Through watching football, I develop skills in playing and becoming a good scorer for my teams. Additionally, I learn how to receive balls from other players, take them from opponents, and pass the ball effectively. I also understand how to use all my body parts to play football and follow the rules of the game.
I love reading set books to excel in high school and improve my grammatical English. Reading set books introduces me to quotes that motivate me in my daily life.
Grazing and farming are economic activities I enjoy in my area. Practicing grazing and farming is part of the duties performed in my community. It is also the primary activity through which people in the Withare community obtain food, on which they rely.
I also enjoy listening to music for entertainment during my free time. Listening to music, especially afrobeats, helps me learn many things.
Achieving my career aspirations is my constant goal. I study diligently and work smart to become proficient in sciences and mathematics, making it easier for me to become a doctor.
