Name: James Hinga Wanjiru
School: Ndururumo High School
Community: Weruini
I’m James Hinga from the Weru-ini community. In our family of three—my mother, sister, and myself—I hold the position of the eldest, born on December 14th, 2007.
My passion lies in football, inspired by the best players I admire. It not only energizes me but also brings immense joy and satisfaction whenever I play. Music also holds a special place in my heart, offering inspiration, spiritual growth, and entertainment. During my leisure time, music serves as a stress reliever and a source of happiness.
Physics stands out as my favorite subject, as it’s the cornerstone of my career aspirations. Understanding it well is crucial for my chosen path.
I find solace in reading novels as they enrich my vocabulary and encourage me to read more, ultimately improving my English skills.
My community’s support and guidance motivate me to become a game changer. Their encouragement drives me to work harder as I strive not to let them down. Additionally, I proudly serve as a youth leader in my church. My commitment to attending church services and being an altar boy earned me the position of vice-chairperson, chosen by my peers who appreciate my leadership qualities.
Though my academic journey presents challenges, I am determined to put in more effort. I firmly believe that diligence yields rewards. My aim is to achieve an A- grade in my KCSE exam to pave the way for my career. I trust in God’s guidance and hope to extend help to those in need, just as the PA-MOJA group supported me in my time of need.
My ambition is to become a pilot, as I desire to facilitate transportation for people and goods. Traveling allows me to comprehend the unique features and significance of different places, which greatly intrigues me.
