INTRODUCTION:
Emily was born in 2008 as the fourth born in a family of six children. She has both parents but they are both casual labourers and with her other siblings, they would not have been able to afford her school fees. Emily attended Jane Goodall African Academy for her primary education and she scored 340 marks on her KCPE exam. Emily was admitted to Kisima Girls High School in Samburu for her secondary education.
Emily’s principal says that she is a ‘well disciplined, hardworking and responsible pupil’. She is also an all around student, being involved in football, volleyball, athletics and music.
Emily wants to give back to her community by getting a good job and supporting other students like her in the future.
We are excited to have Emily in PA-MOJA’s scholarship program and wish her all the best as she starts her high school journey.
