My name is Bilha Wangechi, and I was born in 2009. My best friend, Mercy Wanjiru, is a great help to me during my studies. I attend Ndururumo High School, located near Nyahururu town. I work hard in school to excel in my academics.
Since primary school, my dream school has been Ndururumo High School. My parents encouraged me to work hard so I could attend my dream school. I completed my K.C.P.E. in the year 2022 at Sweet Waters Primary School, where I scored 319 marks.
During my free time, I enjoy watching Nigerian movies and reading storybooks. I especially enjoy Nigerian movies because they are often very educational. When I complete my secondary school education, I would like to attend Maasai Mara University. I have heard positive things about the university and admire it greatly.
In the future, I would like to be a surgeon working abroad. My dream is to empower the boys and girls in my community by promoting education. I always work hard to achieve my goals.
I live in Nanyuki with my family, which consists of four members: two parents and two children. At our home, we are fully integrated with our neighbors. Our parents always teach us good morals, which are of great help to us. They encourage us to work hard so that we can succeed in life.
I am a Kikuyu and proud of my culture, which I find both interesting and educational.
Finally, I would like to thank the Ol Pejeta Conservancy for their support. They have been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals and dreams. Through Ol Pejeta, I have learned to be a woman of integrity, strength, and hope. They have also instilled in me the pillars of life, which will help me shape my future and make it bright. I would like to thank you for the scholarship opportunity you have offered me in recognition of my hard work.
